Taperlock bushes are designed to facilitate easy change bush system that can be used in sprockets, pulleys, fan rotors and many other devices. They are often used to slip into a weld on hub, but can also be machined directly into a sprocket or pulley if there is not enough room for the hub. We stock a wide range of bore sizes to fit both metric and imperial standard shafts.

Cast taperlock bushes is what is mostly available throughout New Zealand and these are used a lot in easy running applications.
Steel taperlock bushes are slowing coming into New Zealand and being used a lot more when it comes to high impact applications. Also referred to as TSR bush (Total Shock Resistance) these are the answer to high loading and high torque applications, The advantages include: Highly Reusable, Virtually Unbreakable, Easily Machined, Infinitely Stronger and Absorbs a higher shock load.
